Dear friends,
Today has been a long, but very hopeful day. First and foremost thank you for all the prayers! What started as a truly terrifying day had turned out much better than I, and my family, could have hoped. The procedure went quickly and extremely well.
As for a brief update, We are currently in a 'step down unit' between ICU and a regular room. Everything is going well and we hope to be in a regular room aka 'the floor' tomorrow.

So glad to hear this! I plan to come up to the lake and visit Ruth when she gets home and comfortable. IF YOU NEED ANYTHING - just let me know and I will come in a flash. I know B'ham like the back of my hand, even though I have gone for years. Love you lots!
